The Gallatin County Catholic Parish is located in extreme southeastern Illinois and is in the East Deanery of the Diocese of Belleville.

The parish includes four worship sites: St. Joseph Church of Equality, St. Joseph Church of Ridgway, St. Patrick Church of Pond Settlement, and St. Mary Immaculate Conception Church of Shawneetown.

The parish publishes both an online and printed Bulletin and has developed local Parish Policies.
